We did a similar cleaning before my SIL's bridal shower at our house (bathrooms, kitchen, main living areas and hallways) and it was $125. We used Amazing Maids of Washington, Inc. (425-869-7420) and I think that price included a 10% Microsoft discount. They did an INCREDIBLE job, so it was totally worth it to me.

We just had our house cleaned in prep for the new baby, and got estimates from several companies. Our house is ~1500 sq feet, and the franchise services (The Maids, Merry Maids, etc) were all quoting around $250 for a one-time deep clean and around $150 for a weekly cleaning. I checked the local phone book for independent cleaners and got a lovely Russian lady from the next town over, who charged me $100 for a deep-clean and $75 for the weekly cleanings.

Of course, these area also Massachusetts prices.

It seemed like a luxury to me when I was booking it, but when I came home and the baseboard were clean and the windows were sparkling and the toilet paper was folded just like at the hotel, I nearly cried with joy.
