I need a massage!

Sorry - nice southern girl is back! scary pregnant lady has crawled back inside for now.

My doctor has given me a referral for a prenatal massage. Does anyone have a recommendation for a masseuse? I'd prefer a female in Seattle. Maybe someone has a friend that goes to a Seattle based massage therapist? I'll need one that takes my insurance.

If you have a regular massage therapist you go to, you might find that he/she can do prenatal massage as well. I had a prenatal massage when pregnant with my first and it was just at our local masseuse. My friend also spoke highly of the edamame maternity spa, but the most convenient one to you is in Charlotte, NC. Guess it hasn't reached the left coast yet!

I have the BEST massage therapist! She also just had a baby in Feb and teaches infant massage classes. She is so incredibly amazing. Her name is Ellesa Hunter (pronounced Eleeza) and her # is 206-706-5676. She has a studio in Greenwood and a studio in Fremont.

Oh, yes, mine does prenatal and she accepts almost all insurances. (I have Regence).

She was the first person i looked at. Her website says she won't start up again until after she gets back in October. I'm hoping to see someone earlier since I'm due the first week of November - more massages for me!

Unless you know she's back and might take a random patient while she's getting organized. Are you close enough to her to know or ask on my behalf?
