"My name is Doctor Owen Harper and this is my life. A life that is full of action. And violence. And work and wonder. Secrets. And sex. And love. And heartbreak. Death. My death. The death I survived. The death I'm now living through. Except.... this isn't living. Every day is the same. I get up. Get ready for work. Same as everyone else. The thing is, I'm not the same. I get to work and everyone is doing the same old thing. Babbling away about aliens, weddings. I'm not real. Three days ago I died. And they think I'm fine. But they're wrong."
Torchwood s2e8 - A Day in the Death
I think I never talk about Torchwood over here before. I remember once I write something about Doctor Who, but not Torchwood and, well, I love Torchwood. It's not a serious business and nevertheless is a very clever series and so fun to watch! Of course that the canon slash is also awesome, but the thing I like the most are the characters... and I'm not talking about Jack.
Don't get me wrong, Jack is gorgeous. Just he's not the kind of character I used to fall for. Ianto, on the other hand, is. And, yeah, I know. Everybody loves Ianto. I love him too. But I also love Rhys (yeah, you read that right) and I like Tosh and Gwen a lot.
But I had this thing just for Owen. And it's not a sexual thing. I think that, somehow, I *get* him. And he is also the responsible for the best Torchwood episode ever, "A Day in the Death", IMHO.
Anyway, I think I'm going to re-download the whole series. I would like to buy the DVD's, but I don't think those are even on sell here in my contry. D:
Lame excuse!post so I can use my new Owen icon is lame.
