This felt so real. And it hurt just right. It was a relief, in such a sterile and focused world, to still have someone who valued the chaos of love. And of course, in my mind as well as Pavel's dream, Sulu loved him back!
Lovely! ♥

"He would smile like he smiled every day on the bridge. A half-smile. A bit shy, but still confident and truly assured of something that Pavel didn’t understand."

Loooooove that. Oh man, this hurt in the best of ways. ;_;

*wibbles* Oh my heart is aching and panging and doing all sorts of weird things. This had such a sad, lonely feel to it. It's set up brilliantly. Pavel is perfect here in his explanations and questioning. And I believe that Hikaru DOES love him back and that they will at some point live happily ever after once they get past this no mans land stage. It will be lovely. That is my reality and I refuse to be told otherwise. But really, this was beautiful. lovely prose, wonderful voice, and it made my heart ache (which is a good thing in writing, really!)

Oh God. You have no idea how happy your comment made me. :DDDDDDD And yes, of course Hikaru loves him back. There's no doubt about it. Our little boy genius just need to stop to think with that big brain of his and think with his heart. ;)

Thank you so much for such lovely compliment!
