Your characterization is perfect and it's always a great thing when I can hear the actors talking while reading a story like this :) I love Daryl's thoughts and changes in his ways of thinking and the push/pull of his relationship with Glenn.

Some truly awesome characterization so far! *Loved* how I could practically hear the actors say your dialogue in my head. Also, I hadn't given much thought to Glenn's situation before - being alone, having to work that much harder to be essential, why he goes out for supplies, to have nothing to lose but your own life, to risk your own neck to save a perfect stranger... for complicated reasons, but like you said, everyone wants someone to come back for them. *interesting!

*sigh Just wish there was more TWD slash fan fiction out there.
