Your characterizations are spot on, your dialogue is outstanding, but what really sold this story for me is that it doesn't read like porn. It reads like a survival piece, with the sex fitting in with an air of desperation and urgency and necessity rather than 'here is sex.'

Everything flows so brilliantly together that I never felt confused or bored; the story, as a whole, was very immersive.

Hi! I just wanted to say I read this today and now I think you kinda ruined me. This is without a doubt my fav WD pairing and now I don't know if I'll be able to find something nearly as amazing as this! I actually had given up on this fandom because most fics I find are too small...

Every bit was amazing, I loved Daryl's slow growth and how Glenn was able to help him, unknowingly for the most part. I loved how Daryl never forgot his brother, even while slowly finding happiness, it was very realistic and honestly painful to see him deal with that "loss", never losing his faith on his brother still being alive.
