Would it have made a difference, Scully? Was I a part of that agenda or just a fluke? An available body that no one cared about.

Perhaps if the secrets and lies were exposed, I may not have... these nightmares that I do. I wish someone would have. I wish to God it would have been the way you wanted. But then... I lost my faith in God a long time ago.
