Goodnight Demon Slayer - Voltaire (of course)
the various Rockabye Baby albums (cure, mettallica, u2)
less baby-specific, i'd think some massive attack

not quite lullabyes, per say, but peaceful/pretty tracks that could be good...

massive attack - teardrop
the knife - forrest families
some sigor ros (icelandic)
maybe try some dead can dance off of the more tribal albums (like into the labyrinth)

could be a good break from the norm..

I immediately thought of everything sigur ros and the non-screechy Mt Zion Orchestra.

Beck's Sea Change album is one of the most soothing collections of music I know.

Eels - Beautiful freak (only if the baby is a freak!)
Poe - fly away
Morcheeba - Au Dela (french!)
just about anything by Mono (more french!)
ooh Engima (gregorian chants!) though some of their songs are a bit too upbeat for a lullaby.
A Slow Dance - Explosions in the Sky ahh, but no words :(

Sorry about it being English only, but I'd suggest anything off of Mark Erelli's debut album. If you need, I think I can find the mp3 files for you, just ask and I can find a way to get them to you.

Also, of course, the Dead Can Dance suggestion is very good -- Into the Labyrinth is an excellent album.

Definitely some Willie Nelson. Angels Flying too close to the ground is a personal favorite. Dave Brubeck's Audrey is also lovely. Jag Ja from the Omkara soundrack. Orchestra Baobab (Senegalese) has some upbeat but mellow and very beautiful music. MAzzy Star -- duh. Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
