Torchwood wishes
Dear Torchwood writers, producers, directors, and other decision-makers,
Don't get me wrong. Broody Jack was hot. Jack and Ianto were adorable. The whole team's dynamic was fantastic. I'm going to miss Ianto and Tosh and Owain.
But there are two things that got me watching Torchwood, and those things will keep me coming back.
First, cocky, flirty, risquee Jack. He can be broody too, but can he please be slutty? He can love, he can have relationships, but come on. Broody != castration.
Second, adult themes. Bring me fantastic Doctor Who wackiness crossed with truly adult themes. More girl-girl, boy-boy, xenosexual, out-of-the-box content. It doesn't have to be every episode. But somewhere this got lost in the mix, and I want it back. Gwen and her husband are adorable, but what about all that unfulfilled tension with Jack? And if you're going to make Gwen be a good little monogamous girl, then for god's sake give us some naughty adult fun through the other characters.
Jack has gone off to explore the universe and try to forget. When he comes back, I'm sure he'll have changed. I'm sure he'll be different. That makes this the perfect opportunity to re-introduce his mojo-ness. Please?
