Update from Tall Tree

Aug 13, 2010 08:51

This trip is going well. I took some risks yesterday that paid off (my boss said: Do more of that!), and the problem that was stressing me out late yesterday I figured out a solution to this morning, and my participation in today's all-day meeting no longer needs to be all day, which means I can meet with a number of folks I didn't think I'd be ( Read more... )

Stories!

I am well. I hope you've been well too. I get the impression that you're busy?

But your story idea intrigues me. I would not mind hearing more about it (nudge nudge). :D

I should send you some things I've been working on. Trying to find a place to stop, though, and how to develop this story.

I'm glad you're well. Yeah, I'm doing fine. When it goes well, work can be an incredible boost to my mood and confidence. It's very busy, but I love all of it.

My story is a mess right now. If I can get my act together, I'll try to send you something. I could use some clear thinking, and apparently I am incapable of doing that about this. Thank you for the nudge!

I am intrigued to read what you're working too. How about just stopping where you are and sending it? I can read on the plane home tonight...

sorry I didn't send, I went over to my cousin's house (another cousin, different from... other cousins. I have a lot of cousins). I'm sort of in the same position as you, now that I think about it. I have one project almost done, but I ran out of steam and got bored of it, and another where I'm not sure why I'm writing it and where it'll go. For some reason I'm hesitant to send it, because I feel like somehow I'll figure it out if I keep sitting on it.

Hmm. Mayhaps I will send it this morning, later.

No worries about sending/not sending, hon. Whenever you like is fine. I didn't send anything either, mostly because I don't really have anything worth a minute of your time yet. :-)

Hope you're well. <3!

Hey, sweetie!

Yes, 25 words isn't very many, I do realize. *g* I just couldn't resist sending you that link.

It sounds like things are good even if they're busy, and I'm so glad some of your frustrations have worked themselves out. As for trying to make two stories one (or maybe keeping them as two?), I know all about that problem. Feel free to send me stuff, too. You know I always love to be helpful if I can. Plus it's almost the weekend!

I'm well for the most part. One of my typical moody weeks, up and down, but I think good overall. No writing though. *pout* (Which contributes to my need to live vicariously through others.)

Safe travels home, and have a lovely weekend!

{{{hugs}}}

Hey, sweetie. Thank you again for that link. I need to write you a proper email but it's been a busy travel week, and I haven't really had a chance to sit down and put my thoughts together.

Yes, definitely fewer frustrations this week. Except for the story one, and I know you know all about that! :-) If I get further along, I will send you something. Thanks as always for offering to look at it.

I'm glad you're doing well, if feeling moody. I'm sorry about no writing though -- bummer! Maybe this weekend?

Thanks for the good thoughts. I'm sitting in the airport because of course my plane is delayed. I hate flying on Fridays... (sigh)

Anyway, ::: tight hugs back ::::
