1. It has been the worst two weeks of my life. I only wish I were exaggerating.

2. I love my sisters very much. They have been supportive and loving, undeterred by our being in four different timezones, including one on the other side of the dateline.

3. In other news, we have ants.

I get nervous when someone drops out of circulation like this - especially after posting about difficulties. People are concerned about you. You are in our thoughts. I know you don't really know me from Joe Shmo, but I still worry.
