Hi back! I don't mind rambling. I obviously enjoy discussing this stuff!
I studied music fairly seriously growing up, so that helped with spotting this stuff.
When I started hearing the connections, I was like, "I have to write this out so that people can see it visually or else they'll never believe me!" LOL
This was fabulous! I know nothing of music theory and couldn't tell a G from an F (those are both notes right o_O), but I really enjoyed the way you laid this all out. As you said in your intro, the lyrics are totally tinhatty, but I love that the songs can be put together like this to tell a story.
Whenever I think about Master Plan as a Kradam song, I get REALLY EXCITED. Just saying.
Oooooooh, and I totally immediately made a playlist of this and have been listening to it while reading through this, and Man in the Mirror from Ford Day (which I believe was a really special event for Kradam) just came on, and the line I'm gonna make a change for once in my life just totally gave me chills listening to it in this context.
Their music is what made me a tinhatter (especially Kris's); it's the place where they can say what they want, be the most honest, and not worry playing the PR line, just because they can just play it off as just a song, someone else wrote it, etc., but THESE ARE NOT JUST SONGS. These songs mean something to them, and there is absolutely no way that all of this doesn't add up to something. Not when it all fits together so well.
This whole thing was incredible and I am so so so happy you decided to write it up and post it. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this!!!!

My primary reason for pairing BIB with Voodoo is the way that the opening of BIB echoes the chorus of Voodoo.
