I really don't technically have time for reading. That said, I've read some amazing books lately. I finally read Jane Eyre.. which seriously, it was so much more than any stupid chick-lit shit I've wasted my time for the past five years of my life. It was even better than stupid Pride and Prejudice. Completely pales in comparison. I walked around

The rut thing sounds about right, but the rest is bull. You're not dumb, and you don't need the glasses, you're just taking some fucking hard classes. Phyisics is a weeder class for engineers; it's a way to make them feel inadequate as freshman, you just took it at a time when you didn't need to get knocked down any more. Chris was a loser (He'll probably read this and then you two will start dating and then he'll hate me and then you'll hate me and it'll be bad), and you deserve better. We all need more freinds, but you seem to do pretty well for yourself, you're not nearly around the appartment as much as I am, which bodes not so well for me. We jsut have to start doing thigns to get you out more, and it'll make you feel better.

...then you absolutely MUST read *Wide Sargasso Sea* by Jean Rhys, it's Bertha's story before Rochester locked her up in the attic and it is tremendous and fabulous and one of my favorite books! Feel better, glad to know that you're ok, and I know how your post-Europe rut feels. I cried for two weeks and gained about ten pounds after I got home from England!
