In my opinion visions only seem to appear when one of the involved is experimenting fear or when their lives are in danger. But then the last part of the movie should have been full of visions. As Terra says, is probably that the 5th movie won't even mention it.
About Eve having visions of her parents being intimate, no. But I do think in a future it could be the other way around,
SELENE: *Waking, her heart pounding* That's weird, I can't remember what I was dreaming, oh well…. *Goes back to sleep but she can't, the anxiety doesn't let her.*
Next day Eve tells her what she was doing.
SELENE: GAH NO!!!!!!! EVE: Oh…You had a vision of me?! SELENE: It wasn't a vision, it was more like a feeling. EVE: Ew!!!! SELENE: No that kind of feeling!!! EVE: You better stop talking. SELENE: You better learn to control your visions in those circumstances! *They calm down.* Anyway, I hope he treated you well.
They always seem to leave the fans to fill the voids and then they come and explain something in just a phrase. Gah, this movie let some important questions unanswered.
I think the concept of a "would Eve be subjected to seeing her parents' lovemaking due to the psychic link?" question is one that might not have even occurred to the writers, at least not seriously. But leave it to fandom to ask the IMPORTANT questions.
I think you're right that it's a danger response. But honestly? More than that, I think it's something that Eve will learn to control, so she would not have to see what she didn't want to see.
Eve blocking Michael and Selene for me feels uncomfortable at least at the age she has now. Thinking seriously about this makes me feel even worse for Eve. I think in this case it is not about Eve blocking her parents but them blocking her. Although I imagine that would not work 100% of the time.
This goes just fine with my theory that visions only can be transmitted when one of them is in danger.
If anything I think it would be more difficult the other way around when Eve grows up and begins to experiment with her sexuality. Contrarily to Michael and Selene that would be new for her and would not be desensitized to a point that she is not aware that she is transmitting something she shouldn't.
I think it's something that Eve will learn to control, so she would not have to see what she didn't want to see.
I think they all will learn to control the visions but the thing is where would be a difference between 'my parents are having sex' and 'they are in danger'. Something along the lines of: do I answer this call?

Nice to see them being considerate of Eve's visions. I have to wonder how that's supposed to work.

I second Ithil's question, but mostly out of philosophical curiosity. I doubt a potential fifth movie would even address it.
