At most Japanese schools, although there is a janitor, the students and teachers are responsible for cleaning the school every day. For ten minutes at the end of school we each go to our preassigned cleaning areas and tidy up. random thought of the day:
the word embarassed just reminded me of Spanish class because the word embarassado means pregnant and not embarassed. I remember my teacher telling us that once she was in Madrid and she was just starting to learn SPanish and something funny had happened to her and she told her host family she was quite embarassado and that they laughed at her and she didnt understand why until she looked up the word.

My spanish teacher told me the exacty same story. No joke. I think maybe that's a tool they teach you in Spanish-teacher-school becasue I have never, ever mixed them up. Although right now it's eluding me how to say embarassed?

oh man!! i knew!! it IS a conspiracy! BUT one that saves us all some embarassment... hahah i posted that in hopes your might know the actual word for embarassed. I have NEVER gotten those mixed up either but I also can never remember the real word for embarassed so I just looked it up... avergonzado

and it was embarazado.. oops!my spanish is quickly spilling out my brain as more Japanese comes in!!
