Today at school the students had physicals and one of the other teachers and I were in charge of measuring their height. I remember having to get tested like this every year for sports and the most dreaded test was always the weight test. I have always been fond of the first day of school. From kindergarten all the way through the Wake days the first day of school has always felt so refreshing. I really dont know how businessmen and women can fly back and forth across the world going to business meetings frequently. I would be falling asleep on the boardroom table making drool puddles on the day's agenda. I know that jet lag is tough for everyone but I seem to be affected by it especially hard. After a week of bowing, singing, standing and processioning (is that even a word? haha) practice, graduation day finally arrived on Monday. Japanese graduation ceremonies are much more formal than American ones.
