Chuck, I have something to tell you. I know it's been nearly three years, and sometimes it feels like I might have strung you along. Just a little bit. I mean, Jim Halpert and Dean Winchester are still in my life, but... Well, it's like this really ( Read more... )

I think in one of the interviews that I read that Brandon Routh said that his character was an ass, and he'd hate the character if he was watching him on tv.

(HE IS SECRETLY MARRIED TO LANA LANG Hannah.)

If I remember right, too, Matt Bomer was pretty high in the running at one point to be Superman in SR. Weird, huh.

It would be HILARIOUS if he was secretly married to Lana. Then we would know that Josh Schwartz is secretly a Clark/Lana 'shipper and he'll just get them together his way.

That would be brilliant, because this is the only way her presence will be amusing to me since I just don't care about SV anymore. lol

Well, if the actor would hate his own character as an outsider, we're in for a rough ride. I'm already on the verge of wanting to kill him, I think it's just going to get much worse.

I honestly can't see Matt Bomer as Superman at all. Brandon definitely had "the look", the movie was just poorly executed.

Since I heard that they were both cast, I've been thinking of their characters as a Clana I could stand! I have hopes that we'll have pictures or something so I can have an icon.

SV is hardly even worth watching for Chloe this season. I still <3 her, but she's gotten about 5 minutes of screentime and most of it is Lois and her boobs, and Clark acting like a boob. You aren't missing a thing.

I read a book last year that was about the hell they've had getting Superman movies to the screen (especially in the gap between the Reeve films to Superman Returns). Some of the ideas....really, Superman Returns was a million times better than some of the proposed films, which is saying something in itself. I don't get why people have so much trouble rebooting and making a great filmof the character- I think that Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Star Trek prove it can be done.

I'm still a big Superman fan even if I'm not happy with his adaptations as of late. As you touched on, some of those qualities are definetly in Chuck. :D
