I just finished my piano lesson with Genevieve (age 5). I say, "what's this note?" pointing to a note on the top line of the bass stave. After some "ummm"s from Gigi I say, "ok, what's the rhyme, remember? Good boys deserve fruit ALWAYS". And she looks at me and says "Oh yeah that's right - it's OI'm thinking

i see you have time to post journal entries, but haven't quite managed to reply to your email yet... i am trying not to be consumed with bitterness or anything so petty.

anyway, i'm off to my violin lesson this afternoon, so shall take your base clef lesson with me (i'm learning a lot from your journal - you really are an inspiration to young people evrywhere).
