So I've officially given an exit interview and signed the papers to take a year off St. Johns. I'm hustling around New York City trying to find work for an Apple retail location. I will never stop believing in you and your knowledge. It's funny- I can identify every little thing that Mom and Dad would scoff at if they read this. I know their minds so well. I know you have some outrageous ideas, and I'm sure you're always going to be inaccurate some of the time with your thoughts and decisions... but, really, you never cease to learn from every single thing you do.
I want so badly to break away and visit you- I can't even imagine how much I would learn. I'm fascinated with people- their minds, thoughts and experiences. I don't want to be so scared of everything anymore. I hate only embracing and loving in situations where I am comfortable. Fear is such an ultimate restraint. It's valuable and vital to acknowledging instincts and intuition, but I have grown up in such a way that I fear even perhaps some of the least threatening things in life.
I want to be able to really make a difference this summer, as you seem to be. You are "following your heart", being independent, living life to the fullest ( ... )
