Yep, I'm back! 'Course, we don't have the net at my new place yet, so I'm stuck to paying too much at internet cafes to get online. It's really hard to find free wi-fi in this city! Grr.

But yep, I'm back. Yay!

The library was closed on Sunday, and then on Monday, because of Labour Day. Then work got in the way too.

But that don't matter now, 'cause we got it hooked up at home! Wooo!

Mel Q? I'm not sure I recognize that name... But I hung out with a ton of cool kids, and yes, I was the night watchman. A great time, to be sure.

Tell me about your rock climbing adventure!

I keep running into people or having events occure that make me think of you, too. The squeegee kid I sat and chatted with Friday night, for example.

Also, I hung out a bunch with Dave at camp, and we had an amusing moment involving patches you'd made... I saw that he had a patch very similer to one I had from you ('My name is ___ and I'm fucking awesome!'), and I told him I had the same one, but with a different name. He then said that he had the same bicycle patch as I had on my bag. We soon realized that the creator of these patches was the very same person!

But yes; you need to make me wings, and I need to get up off my lazy ass, and reply to your letter! I've actually been thinking of giving you a call, to make up for my tardy-ness.

Tell me of an adventure you had this summer. :)

what a cute coincidence! (with the patches) when i read that i said "whoa! people actually use my patches!?" and i almost fainted with happiness. :-) that is an awesome story. i'm pretty sure you and dave are the only two people i've ever made bike patches before. and that is my favorite design, out of all the patches i've ever made. ;-)

this makes me miss both you and dave a lot.

so, exactly what sort of wings are you in the market for, mr. dewar? simple? elegant? ornate? feathery? realistic? i need to get to work. :-)

Seems there are at least two people in the world who appreciate how awesome your patches are. And I, for one, am honoured to own one of those rare bike patches. Currently, I'm trying to figure out where to put that roses patch you sent me. Also, any other patches you feel like sending my way, will be proudly displayed upon my person, up here in Canadia. ;)

I too, find myself missing you... And feeling some elements of guilt, due to the letter waiting for a reply, sitting on the floor next to my bed.

As for wings... Gosh, I don't really know. Do you, by any fortunate chance, have access to a scanner or digital camera? 'Cause if you could show me examples of these different styles you make mention of, it might make it eaiser for me to come to a decision.

Excitement. :)
