I understand. Sometimes it's easier to feel compassion for animals than humans. Animals are innocent where as humans are faulty and will let you down.

I'm sorry about your dog. Animals are important. I feel so attached to my dog (also named Maggie), and she's 13 and not in the best of health either. I'm sorry. :(
