Thursday 4:15 (ish) - I'm teaching dance. We're about to run through her mini-dance which she is to perform for friends/family next week. The fan, radio, and lights all start flipping out. Okay, that was weird. We go out into the hall, talk to her mother, I let her leave after we run the dance once more without music. I leave work thinking it' ( Read more... )

:) If I had enough gas on Thursday, I would have gotten back on the highway and driven somewhere. I don't know where... but somewhere with power. LOL Nah, actually, I probably wouldn't have. It was quite the adventure!

It's good to hear everything is okay.....we got hit over here as well and there have been rotating blackouts the past couple days and will continue for the next few days. For the most part our power is back but we are conserving energy because there are still parts of Ontario that don't have any power! We are lucky we at least have our power back.....

I think by the end of today everyone will have thier power back... Most of the cities right around Detroit got their power back Friday. And I think most of the areas now have power.

Glad you're safe too! And have power! It was FAR FAR too hot without fans or AC. A black out stretching from Toronto all the way to Detroit, down through NY, NJ... into Ohio... Craziness!

We're conserving as well. Or at least we were Friday and yesterday... not as much today. But, still some. Hope everyone gets their power back soon! :)
