I don't think I would ever have an abortion. Not because I disagree with it, just because I personally wouldn't be able to bring myself to go through something like that. Even if I didn't have a lot of money or a partner or the whole cliche'd 'perfect situation' I'd like to think I could make it work anyway. But thats just me.

To those that have chosen abortion, another question. Why abortion over putting the child up for adoption?

I think it's all about personal circumstances, and I also think it's a decision for the mother of the child, it isn't for us guys to say what's right and what's wrong in terms of abortion, simply because I don't think it's something guys can ever completely understand, I think it's also a very personal thing ( ... )

many animals do you know go to university, work in an office or have credit cards? Well, as far as university I know quite a few, and they learn at least as much as some of the students I know, although they spend less time in the bar :D.

I don't know about killing for very short sighted purposes, you're not a George Bush supporter by any chance? lol If I was ever put within sword swing of George Bush he would be a dead man, I'm not against killing, but it should never be for money (or oil) or for fun. Just for self defence and food.

I also think it's a decision for the mother of the child, it isn't for us guys to say what's right and what's wrong in terms of abortion, simply because I don't think it's something guys can ever completely understand Of course the final decision is going to be the mothers, but in any relationship the guy is going to have some influence on that decision, and is going to have to support the woman in making the decision that is right for her. If it was to come down to it, would you be in favour of the ( ... )

"...If it was to come down to it, would you be in favour of the idea or against it, and why?"

I would support whatever decision she makes, I definetely wouldn't make the decision for her, I would provide helpful advice and whatever else but I would still leave the decision to her. As long as she thinks about it, and does what she feel is right, then regardless of whether we keep it or she aborts, I'll be in favour of whatever she chooses. Although I would insist that she just has a bit of a think about it so she makes a good positive decision that she doesn't regret, rather than making a decision about it at the spur of the moment.
