i hate hiccups!!!

so ya i have had the hiccups for the past hour? whats up with that? what causes hiccups? i know biologically it is due to a spasm in your diaphram but... what causes the spasm? and do you think they could be deadly? like if you had them for long enough? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ponder
