so much for writing all 6 essays this weekend. i finished one. One. but, it's probably the longest one (family and personal history) and the others i think i can put together from various emails and cover letters i've written before. after starting my family history essay, i peeked at an autobiographical one my bro wrote recently to get ideas ( Read more... )

I feel your pain, hun. There is never enough time to do all the grad school crap with a full time job and other responsibilities - even those that you choose for yourself, like the gym. I ended up having to cut the gym time way back so I could do things like study, write lab reports, eat dinner at home at a reasonable hour... and I STILL haven't turned in a single PA school application! It's so frustrating to know what you want to do, and know what you have to do to get it, and yet have so much else to do that it seems like nothing gets done.

Can we just stop time for a couple weeks so we can hurry up and finish all our grad school crap and maybe even see each other in the meantime? Who can we get to build us a time machine??

hey sweetie,

how are your apps coming along? I had to withdraw my dec 15th one because i couldn't get 2 of my recommenders (one had a family emergency and the other never responded to my messages). i had a back-up, but i was still short a recommendation, and didn't want to use a second back-up because it wouldn't be as strong. so now i'm really, really, hoping i can get one of those two for my january deadlines. ugh, what a mess. it's frustrating to have to rely on other people sometimes. the time crunch is bad enough.

i hope your applications are coming along well. good luck
*love
