the initial shock and "i hate you" period is slowly coming to an end, and i don't think i want to kill anyone anymore, but i'm still feeling really sad/lonely and helpless. i realize now that i probably should have seen all this coming, cause there were definitely some signs, but there were also signs that everything was fantastic, and i guess that

how about this.. guy did horribly scummy thing as opposed to being inherently scummy? then you don't feel bad about liking scum, and it's still established that this is crappy?
