graduation and other happenings

so sitting on the field at graduation as a grey-gown yesterday, i really got to thinking.... one year from now, i'll be the one sitting in my graduation gown, walking up to the stage to get my diploma. i'll be the one saying goodbye to my teachers and classmates. i'll be the one celebrating because high school is over.

i don't want to just stay around here. i want to go places, see new things, meet new people. but in the end, i do want to stay here. i love it here in washington. i want to go somewhere else, but i don't want to put down roots there, because when the time comes, i'll have to pull up those roots and come back.
Interesting - that's how I felt when I was deciding where to go to college. I still feel that way, but wanting to see the world, new places, and people won over, obivously. I decided college is the time in life to do that. I'm sure you'll make the right decision for You, but you've still got many months.

I'm Infinitely Glad that the weather was sunny and not too windy for graduation - both of ours were on the same day!

We were soooo hot during our graduation, though. There was a nice breeze that kept it ok...but still.

I have an innocent question...why do you capitalize random words when you write?

Oh, I do it in my regular journal too, only more creatively.
I think it started because I didn't know html language to make things italic or bold yet, so even though I do that now, I like putting capitals on words when I feel like it to emphasize the word or the concept. Or if it's something I feel strongly about. I probably do it more than I should, but it means a lot to me in normal conversation to use voice inflection, and I can't really do that through typing.
