this morning when i got home from practice, there weren't many leftovers around the house for lunch. so i thought, "i guess i'll make some macaroni and cheese." i was about to go downstairs into the computer room and ask robert if he'd like to share a box of macaroni with me, when i realized... he's gone.

i ended up eating lunch alone.

this week has been: emotionally draining. physically draining. mentally draining.

seriously, about a year's worth of emotional trauma has been condensed into one week. i can't really talk about much of it though, except for the part about robert moving into his UW dorm. i dunno what i'm gonna do with just my parents around all the time.

end of week one of cross country. it's been a good week so far. i started out excited, i felt like i was a great runner, but after 6 days i'm back in my same old position of, well, slow. but that's okay, i'm having a great time, and i'm still excited, which is all that matters.

sometimes i have the maturity of an 8-year-old.

the blackberries were warm and sweet
the way summer should taste.

i spent the day:
1) picking blackberries. what an adventure.
2) washing blackberries for BLACKBERRY JAM!!!
3) making a quick run to albertsons because we didnt have enough sugar for blackberry jam
4) finishing blackberry jam
5) thinking about blackberry jam.

seriously, i love blackberry jam to no end.
