*yawn*

Am tired. Really don't want to do dishes before I go to bed but seeing as Mum'll kill me if I DON'T, then it must be done.

Ballet class was excellent tonight...the driving an hour to and from, however, was not excellent. Why, oh why, is the only really good ballet class an hour away from me?

Am now reading "Rising From Ashes" on the advice of bethshmack. ( Read more... )

Was listening to The Last 5 Years on the way to ballet tonight and got way to into it; I was singing along and crying and then I turned to see that the person in the car next to me was staring at me looking rather terrified. Oops.

Been there. Done that. About ten million times. The Last 5 Years was my driving to/from work music this whole summer. Believe me, after 8.5 hours of four year olds, I *really* got into it. Especially Summer in Ohio. My favorite line: "I'm never gonna go back to OHIO!" Of course, that's mainly because my evil former roommate was from Ohio and honestly, nothing good has ever come from the state. Every time I hear that song I do a mental "hahahaha Kathie lives in Ohio" laugh.

Of course, then I just get all dramatic and sing the different parts and yeah... people stare.

I LOVE that show.

LOL, yeah, that's one of those things you try not to listen to in the car but you just can't help yourself. What incredible music; I really want to see the show. I'm sure its kickass. And yeah, "Summer In Ohio" is hilarious cause my mother is from Ohio and she's always talking about how odd it could be.

It's got some of the BEST lines, though, like the v. end of "The Schmuel Song" when he talks about how lucky he is to be in love with her. *sigh* Or the entire "If I Didn't Believe In You" just rips my heart out. As well as the end of "See, I'm Smiling" when she flips out. I think that was when I started bawling yesterday...

ooh, how about the violin waltzy thing that plays throughout the show, including after the wedding, and then ends up being the tune to "I could never rescue you no matter how I tried. All I could do was love you, hard, and let you go..." So that line makes me cry. And now every time the waltzy thing plays, I want to cry. And I want Jason Robert Brown's babies.

And "concious, deliberate mistakes" in "Nobody Needs to Know". Hell, all of that song. Because he's such a JERK but then when you start to listen to what he's really saying... well, he's still a jerk. But a jerk that makes me cry.

Ahh yes...those jerks that make you cry. Jason Robert Brown, yeah, the man could get laid solely on the basis of his music. Like on a regular basis.

AWSM costume ideas. I fear that I dont have time to Zoot it up, but I LOVE that one. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. I'll have to hit the thrift stores after my doctors appointment.

Why am I rambling at you like this?

Yay, somebody else likes my Zoot idea! I was gonna do that one but a) I don't have any plans yet and Halloween is tomorrow so I probably won't have any, and b) I don't have enough $ to buy the costume and I don't really have enough time to MAKE one.

Ah well. We'll see what happens.

And feel free to ramble; my entire journal is rambling, my friends might as well join in!
