i just have to say that a lot of the cast is trying really hard and in all honesty the show does look good. we have our problems here and there but the majority of us are trying harder than you could imagine right now. the leads i know are working their butts off with extra outside rehearsals for lines and character work and the majority of the ennsemble really is working harder than any cast i've seen in musical theatre. please dont be so negative about a show so many have put so much into. i know it may not be a 42nd street or an evita but there are people in the cast who are working harder than anyone will ever see and it really hurts to hear from the authority figures that we suck because we dont. the ensemble this year is honestly really good and they dont get enough credit for it. this show is going to be the best musical theatre show i've been in. i honestly think that. so please dont talk bad about it

FYI: dont clump me in with the authority figures. i didnt say any of those things and i dont want drama to start... READ my comment and take it for what it is. i am on the same page with carol about not liking people right now so dont take my words any futher than that.

after friday's lack of focus everyone felt a little uneasy about dress rehearsals... not just the "students" helping out... the adults too... so let carol feel the way she does... she knows that the show will be fine... but she has given it her all this whole year and people dont listen and dont respect her and the work she does so how should she feel when people dont focus and talking when she is trying to clean stuff? put yourself in her shows too... she was just hurt and sad by the fact that people dont respect her and the work she does. and she may have seemed harsh but how many times do we all say things a little extreme becasue that is how we felt at the time?

i know i dont fully understand what carol is going through or what you go through as a student leader. and i know the focus has been hell and that is true but it is never fair to anyone to say that a show is going to be shit. if people say that it gives us a bad name, less people will see the show, and it brings the moral of the performers down. i know - i've gone through this with choir a lot this year. when someone on the inside says something highly negative publicly it can really hurt. i was not saying you had - im really vbery sorry it came across that way and i see that it must be a very frustrating thing for you but look it as a performer who is giving everything to this show and trust me there are a lot of them - it hurts so much to hear from the people you respect that your show looks like shit when if you did anything more to make this show work you might go insane. i am not talking about myself as much as i am talking about the people i have seen give everything to this show. there are some people who are very rude and
