Day Eleven: Youtube videos are amusing... :D
So, I just wanted to mention another thing that inspired me to start this blog. It's a guy on Youtube known as ShayCarl. He has another channel called SHAYTARDS, which is a daily vlog of his life with his family and friends/coworkers. He's gone for 230 days of blogging, which is a crazy challenge for a person like me who easily forgets things...
I watched the day 229 video earlier, and I freaked out because he saw NCIS: LA being taped, and LL Cool J (Sam) and Chris O'Donnell (Callen) were right there! Shay lives in LA, so it's not like a one-in-a-million thing to happen, but since I'm a crazy NCIS fan, I was very excited. ^-^
And I recommend that you watch the SHAYTARDS channel. I think the videos are amusing, and the three kids are adorable. :)
Not a lot happened today. Dance is still moving along quite well. I did have trouble paying attention in Spanish, but that's probably because I stayed up way too late every night this week. Including now... :P
I feel like I'm actually comprehending Spanish, and that I can form complete sentences without my textbook. Knowing how to conjugate verbs is very important when learning Spanish...
Oh! In the hour between Spanish and dance, I listened to upbeat Christian songs, and I felt really energized and ready for dance by 1 o'clock! And I listened to the lyrics and kind of turned them into mini-prayers.
In small group last night, we talked about how a lot of young women turn to their friends for help and advice before God, which I am definitely guilty of.
So I am trying to go to God first, but it is difficult, because I feel like God wants me to share things with other people. I've been bottled up inside myself for a long time, and I'm really only sharing things with people now that I've started my Bleachless month.
Speaking of that, today I wished I could make a Bleach fandub with an episode of Teen Girl Squad (from Homestarrunner.com), but I didn't feel like I needed to. Self-denial can end up feeling satisfying...
..I'm starting to fall asleep here, so I will update again tomorrow!
