life update

My mom got home from the hospital last night. For those of you who didnt know (and even those who did) she had a pulmonary embolism- which is a blood clot in the lung. It is a scary thing- 75% of people who have them die from them.. My mom is one of the lucky ones

oh, and thanks for your wishes on my doing okay in geog. it was scary, but i'm glad it's done. and you are almost off to the pdp, just as i start....
