I finally finished the release that has been dragging on for a year and a half, and in the middle of all of that my parents visited, and also there were some appliance-related shenanigans that involved multiple delivery attempts and the partial dismantling of a deck. And I'm glad you had a good time at the con(s)! I'm also glad to have my crush on Morena Baccarin reinforced. :)
I like the Pylea arc! I know, I know, I'm the only person IN THE WORLD who does, but I do. It's its own contained little story! I dig that!

Okay, I'm going to lose every bit of Whedonverse cred that I possess and ask who the heck is Andrew Chambliss?
The last time I tried to make it through S3 of Angel, which has been several years ago now, I gave up about half way through. I was defeated by Cordelia's increasing blandness, the cooing over the baby, and most of all, the evil, evil, c-word.
Avatar was...not good. I mean, I saw it in IMAX 3-D and it was very visually striking and sometimes beautiful and blah blah blah, but it was a terrible, terrible script.
Murphy taking himself for a walk is the most adorable thing I've seen all day!

But S3 is on the road to S4! And has individual good episodes! I am trying to psych myself up here.

S3 does have Wesley talking to the giant hamburger. That's always something to look forward to.

I have no idea, but some behind-the-scenes problem like that would certainly explain the WTF.
Angel is really, really uneven. I really, really liked Season 4 when it aired, though, especially the second half--I know some people aren't fans, but I admired the commitment to the apocalypse. It will be interesting to see how it holds up; at the time, I didn't have much of an opinion on Cordelia.
