It's time for me to admit to myself that posting is a habit, and like all habits, it needs active reinforcement. Thinking "oh, hey, I should post about X" and then not doing it is not active reinforcement. And a busy work schedule is not an excuse, since I always have a busy work schedule

If you make it to S8 (or maybe S9, I can't remember), there's an episode about a butt genie. I...can't really explain it further.
And wow, he does not like Scully
Fanfic assures me that this is because of the massive crush he has on Mulder.
I'm glad you're watching S2! There are some really good episodes on the horizon.
The last time I tried to do a rewatch of Angel S3, I did give up halfway through. I find that whole period around Dad and Provider to be deadly.
I tried once with the Dorothy Dunnett books too, and I don't think I made it past the first 100 pages.

Um, I'm not sorry to say I missed this. And really happy I bailed after David did. O_o

Bones is another serious offender in that category.
Sarah Shahi can act, and I also liked that she has a relationship with her step-mother that is prickly, for a lot of obvious reasons, without being catfighty, and that they still work together. I also liked the assistant, who was something of an anti-stereotype.
Angel is going to get better soon--I promise!
