Hey Lori, Courtney and anyone else who knows musical theatre

I'm trying to think of a good musical theatre number for two little girls- ages 4 and 5.

Any ideas?

I have absolutely nothing for you, sorry. But this reminded me...when I was on the cruise last week, they did this little throwback night in the casino with singers and dancers. The girls were wearing fringe dresses and I immediately started analyzing if they would be appropriate for little girls! (I decided yes - not tight, not short, wide straps). I got a big kick out of it and meant to tell you.

LOL! I have permeated your life enough that you are considering my problem on vacation... I didn't even have a diabolical plan to do that!

Are you looking for bouncy, happy stuff to dance to or something more dramatic to sing to?

Dancing type stuff... I'm thinking of Annie, Sound of Music, maybe even something like Broadway Baby.

Dramatic stuff - Secret Garden, Les Mis (Castle on a Cloud), Oliver... although Oliver could be used for some more peppy stuff, too.

What is this for and maybe I can give you something better.

It's for the dance recital. I'm trying to find something dancey, but with a good bit of character to it. The trouble comes in that the kids are sooooo young and there's only 2 of them. I feel like I need a whole passel of kids to do Hard Knock Life.

I'm considering "If my Friends Could See Me Now" from Sweet Charity. It's incredibly inapropriate in context, but as a stand alone song- it's really cute. What do you think?

It's one of the moms (they're sisters) from the class who hated the costume, but according to my office girl, she didn't care until someone else started it.
