sometimes i think that this whole lj thing can get you into difficult situations. take, for instance, my daughter reading about my bad behavior and then wanting to uninvite me to her new house. it's not like i do these things all the time, it's really rare. but now i am an unacceptable mother and she wishes for a more totally normal mom. how can

nah, you didn't miss the post, you had actually replied to it back in Feb. about my recreational activities (see sweetietooth's entry on May 16th - It's my mom). You had mentioned how you had to bail your mom out when she got into trouble. But i am not going down that path, so don't worry about me. i am just regretful that i scared my daughter and all that's evolved since my post.
