I have the same sorta issue too. I had my established group of buddies in high school, but then everyone went away to different colleges everywhere. Sure, we'll hang out sometimes during those times everyone is back, but really, everyone has changed and established a new sort of life where they mainly reside now. The feel isn't the same when we're all together hanging out...but I think that's just a part of life. We're all still friends, but just at a different level now and I don't expect us to be how we used to be when hanging out was made simple because of high school and the social aspects of it.

right but at least you still put forth the effort to talk to your old high school friends. no one has even said a word to me since i moved back up here. not even a message on the aim.
