One of my cousins is pregnant right now, but they're positive the child won't make it to birth, or if she does she will require a new liver, kidneys, lungs and open heart surgery and probably won't be able to walk. Oh, and it might be blind. If it survives for very long.

My cousin is a 30 year old middle school math teacher, who I'm pretty sure hasn't done meth or anything to screw up the baby. She and her husband made the conscious decision to conceive a child.

The world really isn't fair in all the wrong ways.

That's horrible....makes me think about me though, I hope my labor is decent, although I am expecting the worst, lol, don't want to get my hopes up...but it is weird how that tends to happen...not fair & wrong for what they do to their poor babies!
