Lately, I've been missing my metro stop. I'm approaching my one year anniversary as a Metro rider (and expecting that on that celebrated day when I step up to the Metro platform not only will the door perfectly line up with me but balloons, confetti and clowns will spring forth when the doors open), so one would not expect with this near-veteran ( Read more... )

To think that at one point I used to look up to Sattora. Now when I remember him I think "sleazeball Republican."

You looked up to him because he never stopped class to say "Unnes, you are looking fine today. Have you been going tanning recently?"

That's a pretty quick way to dispose of any sorts of admiration from your female students.

Nope, I don't think we ever went to Hooters....but I may have just refused to go.

I try to block him out too, but then again, you could say he was my inspiration to major in Econ in college...

Hmm, lately you have been more like laptopped and in the kitchen. I think you have quite nicely stayed away from the preggars and barefoot scenario, and have become kind of a big deal in the health care playing field. Prettttty sure you got the last laugh here.

Middlesex was the one responsible for me missing numerous stops. The rest were just a bunch of random ones I pulled off the fiction shelves (I always judge by covers) - Back When We Were Grown Ups (Ann Tyler), The Pact (Jodi Picoult), & the last of the Jan Karon books, a series I've been reading
