My brother was pacing..... back and forth around the back yard muttering something about his party going to be a failure... no- turning up and no-one listening to him... I hope your brother is grateful of your cleaning efforts. Mine has the shits at me because I said he can't invite his "girlfriend" (whom I have never heard mention of before this afternoon) to my 21st. I told him she couldn't come, because I had never met her and she wouldn't know anyone aside from James, who will be required to walk around with food trays and be my bitch. He said "well I've already invited her and Dad said it's ok so it will be sweet." I said sorry, it's my party, and it will be sweet for me because she is not coming!

That is extremely disrespectful of the crowd not to get their groove thang on for the Grates. Shame on them.

I had to tell my dad his girlfriend couldn't come to my 21st.
My dad then said he wouldn't come to my 21st because I didn't invite her.

My dad did end up coming to my party. He made a cameo appearance for 5 minute because she was waiting in the car. He couldn't understand how it was my party and he should respect my wishes. He thought it was a big vendetta against her. I very much dislike her, this is true. He just couldn't comprehend that my 21st is about me, is about me being happy and comfortable and joyous about celebrating this important day in my life. So why I should have to compromise my happiness just so she doesn't feel left out? It's bullshit.

Tell the mothy one that it causes bad blood to mess up someone else's special day with his own selfishness. His girlfriend will be welcome at family events I am sure, and hopefully he can go a weekend without a pash for the sake of celebrating your 21st.

Ah it's not the mothy one...it's James. Mothy one's girlfriend is invited, because I work with her and would have invited her even if she wasn't going out with Tim because she is lovely.

I got to the Apple place and showed them my Ipod. Switched it on to demonstrate the sad ipod face, and voila! Fucker is working. So that was a wasted trek down Adelaide street.

I was so sure I was going to come to that party! But it seems I've missed it, and now I've ended up listeing to Gwen Steffani as 4:11am, so, well, u-huh. I'm going to delete that sentence that could have been taken as offensive after all, which will make the rest of the comment make less sense, and you'll be thinking, WHAT WAS IT? And I'll tell you in person, so you can see my grin and know it's all ok. Speaking of which, WHEN?

Well, by way of explanation, I was quite drunk last night. When are you going out next? I am performing poetry at the next Art Garage... I think it's the 17th.

Where is this arts garage??? west end isn't it?

I will be out and about alot this weekend I hope..... It's a dear friend of mines going away party on saturday night in the valley, so I be out and about for that..... & nicks formal on friday... but obviously I can't go to all of that (just the pre.... I might head out after that... please note: MIGHT... I have been a lazy lazy fiend lately and refuse to leave the couch)

& later in the afternoon on sunday I have been invited to see a band play... somewhere... I cannot recall the exact location at this moment in time:-)

What is your plan... will you be out & about any time soon?
