We watched 1776 in my American Lit Honors class in high school. I'm still not sure WHY, other than the fact that Mrs. Eisen was a huge musical geek. I loved her so hard.

My Revolutionary America class went to Monticello because we're near Charlottesville and we were like OMGFIELDTRIP (yay we're 8) and the tour guide kept referring to him as "Mr. Jefferson" and I was singing "But Mr. Adams" and then she said something and I kept singing "The Egg" and my prof was laughing at me and omg it was so much fun!
