I have snowdrops in my garden for the first time ever! And I have no recollection of planting them.

Snowdrops are very temperamental. I planted some ages ago with no luck, but of the ones I planted last year on Snowbell's grave, half have sprouted. My gardening tip of the year: if you want your snowdrops to germinate, plant them on top of a dead cat!

Hmm, I doubt Rex is willing to die for my gardening success - but it's possible that these snowdrops have appeared above the graves of one of Rexy's casualties (of which there are many)...I think you could see your snowdrops as a gift from Snowbell - the name is simialr, after all...
