it actually went better than expected :)

though for one dance i rolled the other way and "collided my 2 pound body" into the chica next to me (who happened to be the dance teacher's daughter - lol (but she's also my friend)

they wouldn't stop teasing me for the rest of the night. "oh karen can't roll the right way!"
