!!!RENT!!! and now's over

OMG OMG OMG OMG SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! *dies* It's so good, I'm so sad it's over, I just...wow.

Ok let's discuss. I get to the theatre two hours early, bump into everyone I know, the show starts, I am shaking.

Angel was wonderful, so cheerful and perky, a bit too muscular for the dress, but it worked. His voice cracked during Contact which was a bit dissapointing, but he made me cry when he was laying on the hospital bed durning With Out You, well him and Collins both.

Mimi was SO cute...but again lacked quite a bit on the vocals. It was like when she was sad she sounded like a man and when she was really sad she was a bird of prey. It's a good thing her cuteness made up for that almost entierly. The line "They say I have the best ass below 14th street, is it true?" she was wiggling her bum at Roger and kept sliding closer to him and "Oh the wax, it's dripping, I like it between my-" she was moving her leg between Rogers and it was funny.

Roger was so disappointing. All he was, was a very tall nose with hair. I actaully laughed during Goodbye Love because I realized he looked just like Snape with blonde hair and a leather jacket. He was really good at Your Eyes though, I bet that's what he used in the audition, I would have given him the role just for that.

Collins was as adorbale and wonderful as he should be. So cute and such an amazing voice OMB. He had such good chemistry with Angel.

Maureen was hilarious! I mean Over the Moon is a freakin' funny song, but she made it even better, I don't know but I think she had the best voice out of all of them.

Joanne was the perfect Joanne, and she was the understudy! She was quirky yet typical lawyer-ish, fabulous voice.

Now Mark, oh Mark. I love Mark. I really didn't think anyone other then Anthony Rapp could be Mark in my eyes, but this guy...wow. He was such a cute little mouse, with the best facial expressions and body language and voice, sooo good. During La Vie Boheme he was going nuts, he actually humped the table when he said "To mucho masturbation".

It was all just so good, I can't get over it. Listening to the soundtrack just won't be the same, and I don't think I can ever watch the movie again it cannot compare to seeing it live. I was fourth freakin row, when the actors came to the front of the stage it felt like they were talking to me. Plus I mean, anything that excludes Christmas Bells isn't worth my time. I wanted to cry after the show, not just because it's sad but also because it was over. What will I look foward to now?

Well Wicked, but that's besides the point.

Right so after the show Parisa and I took a very long time leaving the theatre because two friends who had seen the earlier show told us that they got to meet Angel and Benny, so naturally we kept walking back and forth just incase we got to see them. So finally Parisa drags me out of the theatre and we walk behind the building, where we find these prop boxes.

So we keep walking towards the crowd of people and there we see Angel and I freak out. Parisa had to drag me over to where he was standing trying to push me towards him, but I couldn't do it, I was so star struck I just stared and shook and OMB.

Then he had to leave and bumped into me as he was, and I started to cry and just didn't stop. He didn't even see my because I ran to hide behind Parisa, I didn't get a picture or his autograph or hug, bah! We stood in that back alley in the cold for at least another half hour trying to calm me down while trying to get a glimpse of anyone else coming out. I just kept crying until Parisa took to a coffee shop and bought me French Vanilla *face palm* I always laughed at people who cry when they meet famous people and I didn't even meet Angel! I guess it was overwhelming, like he represented Rent in all it's glory...tell me I'm not lame for freaking out. I don't even know what I would have done if I had seen the Mark guy.

All I want to do in life is be in Rent and then Wicked...all I want to be is Idina Menzel. *sigh*
