Get this, as of 2002 US Congress passed the American Service Members Protection Act, which gives the President the power to do essentially what ever it takes to protect American soldiers from jail, political prosecution, all that. In other words, a US soldier could be sitting in jail some where on trail for committing some crime against humanity,
