Walla Walla

I realized that I never updated with my grades or any other school related stuff, in case years in the future I should become curious as to what my grades were in high school.

Politics- 83% down from a 90% which is sad although the 80 is wholly more accurate when it comes to my marks, I studied for 3 days straight for the exam, couldn’t sleep the night before, and wrote the exam in a slightly delirious and extremely hysterical condition.
Creative Writing- I went up to an 85% which is shocking because frankly I wrote a pretty rude evaluation of the course, which I was thanked for on account of my honesty.
Plays of a Modern Era- 81% I did very badly on the exam which was not my fault because a) I was hysterical and exhausted after the Politics exam and couldn’t remember the names of characters, and b)my teacher kept handing out chocolate liqueurs and doing things like answering people’s cell phones in the middle of the exam. On the contrary to being annoying it was pretty wonderful.

Uh new courses, English (hate the teacher already, boring, doesn’t know what she’s talking about), Photography (our teacher smashed his foot or something so we have a professional photographer teaching us, don’t know yet if it’s going to be good or not), Interior (I like the class I think, good friends, good teacher, just worried it will wind up like art last semester), and Challenge and Changes in Society (I’m not sure exactly what the course is about, but I love the teacher, and so far we’ve learned about Freud so it can’t be bad).

Funny things that have happened in life:

Wednesday, Dana and Boom took me to Emma’s who lives in a funny old lady apartment. We run through the cold and go to the 4th floor, because it looks familiar.

Boom: This is it.
Me: How do we know?
Dana: They’re expecting people, if the door is open, it’s definitely them.
I: *push the door with my finger and it opens*
Man Inside: *has a mysterious accent* Come in.
Dana: *runs*
Me and Boom: *run*
We: *hide behind a wall*
Random guy: *comes out from a door just behind us* I know what you’re up to.
Me: Did you guys hear what he just said?
Random Guy: *is still there waiting for the elevator*
We: *freeze*
Elevator door: *opens*
Dana: No seriously what did he say?
Boom: He knows what we’re up to?
Elevator door: *closes*
Us: Shit.
Boom: Maybe it’s on the 3rd floor?
We: *take the stairs*
The Third Floor: *is pretty much the same as the fourth, with the same painting and everything*
Emma’s Apartment: *is on the third floor*
Man Upstairs: *still waiting for us to come in*

Then there was lots of ridiculous Al Gore in an elevator in order to properly demonstrate the effects of global warming, Dana threw the keys at me, I dropped my Gummy Worm in my Coke.

Boom: Always dip, never drop! And always 3rd, never fourth!
I: *drool all over the elevator floor*

We hobble to the car in a single file line from shortest to tallest.

Justin Timberlake: I’m bringing sexy back.
Dana: I don’t know where he thinks sexy went, but he certainly wasn’t the one who brought it back.
Me: Jack Sparrow, now he brought sexy back.

Thursday, I had to run my school dance which was meh. I did re-realize my full love for Julia and Mina who are so cute and brought smoothies. Lee and Michelle randomly showed up and I forced them to hide in the coat check for most of the night, we all danced to our own music rather then the junk the DJ was playing. Dumb kids at my school threw a bottle at him WTF?

Lee and I were locked outside the school while we were waiting for my dad to come pick us up. Do you ever get that feel that you’re living in a movie?

It was snowing; we were the only people for miles around stranding under a sad fluorescent light, with the occasional car driving by slowly enough to get our hopes up. Then when my dad actually came we huddled in the trunk and pretended that we were being smuggled places.

Me: Look at the lighting!
Lee: Ya, and that sign!
Me: And the fact that we’re being smuggled!
Lee: It’s actually a movie!
Me: Although I doubt that people in a movie talk about being a movie while they’re in it.
Lee: Oh ya.

Then we spent the rest of the night stalking people on Facebook, looking up dirty Equus photos while I was properly horrified and kept yelling for me to keep scrolling down. We also rekindled our love for Rupert Grint, I really had forgotten how cute he was, and we read all the dirt bits of Harry Potter out load (Dudley listening to Harry moaning in bed anyone?) and watched Peter Pan who is also very cute come to think of it.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I spent sick in my chair watching TV surrounded by crumpled Kleenex, woe is me.

Today while I was trying to call Sarah (who lives in a very different area code then me) I got

Answering Machine: *older woman with a strange Southern accent* Hi this isn’t George, this is George’s cell phone, leave a message!

Well, I can’t tell if it’s Sarah’s weird answering machine or not. Turns out I accidentally called Washington though, and better yet it was Walla Walla, Washington, which is pretty much my new favourite place.

And now for something completely different. I’m in the mood to take lots of pretty pictures; does anyone have any interesting reason for me to do so?

harry potter, marks, funny moments
