For this psychological mind game to work, you have to do all the arithmatic in the problem. Forgive the scrolling required, its needed to give your mind time to process the problems (they're very simple addition, no worries).

Which means some more time alone in the room with the nice padded walls, I guess...
And before I was told to think of a tool and a color I was trying to add all of the totals up in my head and wondering how much change I would have to make... Which is not that unusual since I just got off work and my brain is in cash-register mode....
