 Deeep inhale, loooooong exhale.

K.  Cool.

So, after much shenanigans and panicking, I cannot find my ID (or my backup ID for when this inevitably happens).  And I fly home for my first visit to see my family in a YEAR-POINT-FIVE on Friday.

I know the feeling, having had my wallet stolen in London a month or two ago.

Could be even worse: my sister was doing research in Britain a while ago (as in, the late 70's, way before the Internet), and was coming home for Christmas. She'd gotten to Heathrow Airport before realizing her passport had expired....

That *sucks*!!!!! I just checked mine this AM to see if I could get away with using it, I knew it expired this year (it ended up it expired in March, so no go...)

That's why I filled out a survey at the end of my internet submission--I did the "fill in the dots" part, then they had a "write in the box" part and I wrote something along the lines of "I am a silly stupid girl, and you fixed it all. You rawk, keep up the good work!!!!" With at least that many exclamation marks ;)
