a stunning chill alerts the impending day,
cherubs laughter,
as the sound of the school bell encompasses all attention.
Omnipotent beauty,
in all is found,
is present,
only when one truly looks around. -

Alice went down the rabbit hole,
Finding a world unknown
To her,
Cosmic colors and bizarre creatures,
Strange cat began to purr,
Widening her eyes to both,
Pleasure and dismay,
Wishing she'd never fallen,
And savoring where she lay,
Her twisted trip soon found her,
Curious and coy,
One quick sip and there she was,
A freakishly small toy.

With the elegance of a dancer,
She moves through with little to no effort,
Images of velvety smooth water come to mind,
When she is envisioned.
The darkness and solitude,
Encompass all who enter her focus,
Casting a certain permanence and peace,
She bids them adieu. -

Fury and chaos
Poppies bow their crimson heads
Their world torn apart -
Candle
Candle burns
Luminously.
Not upon first light,
But takes its time
To flame fully,
Dancing with pleasure,
When touched with drafty puffs,
Taking on more life,
Giving way to burgeon,
Powerful, yet delicate,
For when deprived of prana,
Flame extinguishes,
Leaving behind traces of,
Wick
Wax and
Smoke. -

Glitter falling silently,
Upon the landscape. -

I give a gift to you,
Wrapped up in pinkish paper,
The bow stands atop, shimmering gold.
The thought and care,
Put into the creation,
Show as it becomes unveiled.
A sigh of awe and gratitude,
Are uttered from you,
As you pick up the gift and gaze upon it.
