If you are not too busy for such a thing, I'd be pleased to see you there. Of course, I completely understand if you cannot attend. To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't be throwing such a thing if it wasn't expected of me.

[She leaves it for a while, but eventually decides she has to answer it because flushing her NV down the toilet would just, eventually, cost her needless money. There's a slight pause, which is really just her wiping her eyes, trying to avoid tears at all costs, and when she actually speaks, her voice sounds remarkably detached; all of her usual frustration, anger, amusement is gone. It's just ... empty.]
